Being able to only pass five out of seven classes last semester was a bumper to me because the goal I had set up for myself was to pass seven out of seven. Even though I did not reach my goal I am proud of all the hard work I did to try to meet that goal. Even after the work I did at home and also school I was not able to pass biology last semester but I am very close to passing it I am currently on measurement topic eight so I am really confident I will pass that class before the semester is over. Besides that all my classes are going great the class I have gotten so much more interested in is advanced art when I first entered that class I did not consider myself a really good drawer but now over the time and learning how to do things the right way I have been able to improve so much more.
I am actually very nervous for graduation not because of the classes or the work but for like what my life will be like after high school. I have been doing a lot of thinking and it's very shocking to me how much little time I have left for graduation. I can not believe that I will be out on my own and making the big decisions in life on my own. It will be very strange to not go to school every day in the same town I have lived in my entire life. Although not all kids my age might think the same as me going to college turning eighteen and starting to make my own decisions is a very important deal to me. Making these decisions to me mean that I am starting to be an adult.
The people and things I look back at now is all the learning facilitators that have really pushed not only me but all the students they have in their class to do the best they can and get things done. I appreciate all the work they do for all the students and how some teachers are even willing to stay after school and spend their own time on helping students with some work. That was really helpfull to me because sometimes I feel like I do need that one on one with a teacher to really understand the work. Im also grateful in the teachers that had high hopes for me and believed in me when some people did not and persuaded me to do nothing but the best for myself. Something else I look back at is how much I have changed throughout my four years at Lindsay High School I have grown and matured to be a better person I was my freshmen year. I look back at how time flies by really fast and how we should enjoy each and every moment we live in our lives with that being said I am really proud and happy of everything I have accomplished in Lindsay High School.
